Falling behind on my updates as I haven't been playing much SC4 but I did manage to get a few more from a few minutes, This is the new system for all future industrial developments in Ostrop (and possibly Ecorse; as soon as City Council accepts Resolution #33229415 [they like unecessarily large numbers]). As you can see the factories are flanked by grassy areas (almost said gassy areas) with trees. This works two fold as it increases local demand (beuatification) and increases global demand because I had to demolish some smaller factories to make room for that.

This is the new Ostrop airport. It was constructed after larger airplanes were unable to land at the smaller Ostrop Municipal Airport. This one has international capabilities and has a much larger capacity and with the ability to take in larger jets rather than the smaller business jets.

PS: Yes there is a graphical error and I am working on it.

Sorry guys :(

I only had one picture from Ostrop today...nothing really new happened I was busy revitalizing old industrial districts into new high tech parks...there will be photos of those...just havent came back from the shop yet ;). I threw in a shot of a city in Timbuktu (the maxis region) that is fairly old (the city was at 10,000 people now its 400,000).
This Newberry Park in Zamunda (hey, I was watching Coming to America). It is the big swath of land in the middle of the mainly flat area that was designated early on to be a big park. The area was originally surrounded by residential on one side, industrial on 2, and wilderness on the other. Now it is surrounded by commerical high rises.

Here's a new one from Ostrop. he sims have been busy with urban sprawl lately. The city was screaming for new housing but there were limited job oppurtunities as no new businesses wanted to move in.
This house is one of the Pedriana's sons (Pedriana is a hugely rich family in Path, I might do a post on them later). It was purchased for nearly $2,000 (simoleons are worth plenty more than a dollar as the city only has 1,000,000) and is immense. 5 bedroons, 3 bathroons, a formal dining room, a top of the line kitchen and indoor pool in the basement.

Boring

He y'all its been awhile since I rapped at ya (dont get that reference do ya?) but I got some new stuff from Ecorse. Ecorse has been on the grow...apparently Ostrop isnt as desirable as it seemed in the ads (I'm great at PR) and Ecorse was really the only option unless you wanted to live in a little hick town. Ecorse is approxamatley the same area as Ostrop but there is only a 12,500 pop. (compared to Ostrop's 80,000).
In the few years that Ecorse has been around the constuction industry has boomed..and busted ( Ecorse had a housing limit for several years to restrict immigrant housing purchases) thus leading to several people having to take up in these cheaper apartments. So far the only places to have apartments have been the Waterfront and Chopin Hill districts.

This is a new luxury district way to the east on the cliffs. The area has a lot of ponderosa pines and a beautiful view of the sea from on the cliffs. The area is under-developed as the cliffs were not a desirable area (for somewhat apparent reasons) until later.

Another sign of suburbia...a hyundai dealer. 'Nuff said.

1st Church of Our Lord has setup in Ecorse. The diocese procured this land in a corrupt bargain with native sims. They emptied a burial pit and filled it with water to form the pond. The memorial is a Christsim for all the locals that perished in Simworld War II in ORT 1945.
