The Wi-Fi Here Sucks

During my [temporary] rule of Mount Robson I have photographed my accomplishments.
This is a thriving industrial port in a town called Khantanga (Ka-tan-ga). The terrain is terribly hilly and rough so I am forced to use creative road layots to keep the terriain smooth. This area is slightly modified as shown by the concrete walls lining the basin. You can see docks which are very important to the area as there is no viable way to get supplies through the mountains. Well there is but lets just say you would need 100 gallons of gas, an armed convoy (mountain people aren't too friendly to the valley people here), and supplies for about 3 weeks. Of course there is a road but it goes up, down, around, under, through, and some how above (they had some extra money to spend when they built this place) but who wants to go on a roller coaster like that (especially with RPG armed guerillas around you)?
This is one of my favorite shots, very pretty and detailed. This is the Joseph McManhon Bridge spanning what was the Gorcegoma (Gore-suh-go-ma) river. In 1889 ORT (they are on a different time scale to them it would be 24 MRRT [Mount Robson Relative Time] as their region was founded in 1865 ORT but chosen for 0 in their time) a huge mudslide wiped out the river that carved out the valley (it once strected from the springs to here). The bridge was redone in 1950 ORT to its current steel state. In 1973 ORT a town was setup (Khatanga) and a road built over the filled in river and the bridge stands today only as an alternate route to easy congestion.

If you are wondering about the names the sims here come from easter Rusha (Rush-a) and they do have a strange system but hey I dont name the damn things. The towns here are only recently developing because of recent discovery of highly fertile soil for farming and Siminium in the mountains. The process is extremely efficent and few sims are needed so there is no population boom.
As for progress with the regional government they also feel the Pathian farmer's pain of being on the outskirts of SimNation and agreed to join us if we offer military assistance. The terrain being rough will require special training of our troops but they will still be better armed and trained than SimNational soldiers.
